The Cinna Buzz Cake

300g white granulated sugar

80g butter 

3 eggs

65ml olive oil

180g all-purpose flour, sifted

1 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

Pinch of salt

½ teaspoon ground Ceylon Cinnamon

½ cup Cinna Buzz


Grease a bundt tin or butter and line a 9 Inch springform tin.

Pre-heat the oven to 160° Celsius. 

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and ground

cinnamon in a bowl. Sift it. Set aside.

Mix the sugar and butter in another large bowl until light and fluffy.


Add eggs into the butter and sugar mixture, one at a time.

Beat well after each addition.

Sift in the flour mixture, half at time.

Blend well after each addition until batter is smooth.

Mix in the Cinna Buzz.

Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 45 – 50 minutes.


Serve with a topping of your choice; fresh fruit like cut up strawberries, whipped cream, cinnamon sugar or just the plain beautiful cake by itself.  Enjoy.
